William Bortrick
William specialises in the genealogy of historical and royal families. He was educated at the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge (where he served as a member of the governing Council). He is Chairman of the Society of Genealogists, a Vice President of the Association of Genealogists and Researchers in Archives and a Trustee of the Foundation for Medieval Genealogy.
William began his interest in genealogy as a five-year-old boy while listening to the anecdotes and reminiscences of his father. His other interests include architecture, gardens, music and travel.
