Help Viewing Images
Burkes Peerage images are TIFF format. Browsers require a plug-in or add-on to display these images. Without a plug-in or add-on you will be unable to view images in your browser.

Netscape 6 tip
If the image loads but does not display (the toolbar is present, but no image) try turning on AlternaTIFF's Create Temporary Files.
Right-click in the frame, select More Settings and then Create Temporary Files. Once this is ticked you should find the image will display next time you reload the page.
Internet Explorer tip
IE5+ may have a TIFF plug-in (Kodak Imaging) as part of the browser, however, we recommend installing AlternaTIFF plug-in, as it is easier to use and has a larger viewing area with fewer unnecessary toolbars. IE6 users will need to download a plug-in such as AlternaTIFF
to view these images.
