SCOTLAND - STONEFIELD CASTLE

Stonefield Castle is a superb example of Scottish Baronial architecture, built in 1837 and originally home to the Campbell family. It has retained many of the original period furnishings, wood panelling, ornate ceilings and marble fireplaces, alongside old family portraits.

The castle is set in sixty acres of woodland gardens, containing some of the finest examples of Himalayan rhododendrons and other exotic shrubs. Now an elegant hotel with superb views over Loch Fyne it provides guests with an ideal base in which to explore this area of Scotland.
